Ongoing Educational Opportunities

There are a number of local organizations that offer various classes, presentations, and workshops throughout the year.  Check their calendars to get the most up-to-date information about their offerings.

Compass Oncology Educational Series:

These are classes that are open to the public for the benefit of patients and family members living with cancer. Space is limited and registration is required. 

Look Good, Feel Better:

These nationwide group programs are offered in various health and community settings. Trained, volunteer cosmetologists teach women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and high quality skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry. Women also learn how to wear wigs, scarves, and other accessories.

OHSU Fit Together Exercise Class

FIT [Functional Improvement after Treatment] Together offers evidence-based, professionally led, group exercise classes to men and women recovering from treatment for cancer. Class schedule and registration information, here.
