    Women's Ovarian Cancer Retreat

Women with cancer are often forced to balance their own health care needs with roles as professionals, caregivers, mother, daughters and wives. The five-day retreats enable them to set aside daily routines, focus on their own needs and develop a core community of support. Camps are free to attend, but a camper must provide her own transportation. Space is limited. Sign up to attend.

A fall retreat is scheduled for ovarian cancer survivors and is in September 2018. Registration for that opens in Summer 2018.

The National Ovarian Cancer Conference will be in Washington, DC in July 2018. The weekend conference attracts ovarian cancer survivors (and family) from all over the country including Oregon and Washington. The breakout sessions cover a number of relevant topics and are led by the leaders in the medical and research fields.

The weekend conference will be followed by a day of advocacy work on Capitol Hill (those of us from the Pacific Northwest will be set up with appointments to see our Washington and Oregon Senators and U.S. Representatives).

The Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency, 400 NW New Jersey Avenue, Washington, DC. Scholarships are offered through OCRFA on a rolling basis through April 9th. Apply here for OCRFA funding.

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon & SW Washington is awarding up to $750 in scholarship money to those women from Oregon and SW Washington.

Apply now for funding from the OCAOSW. Deadline May 31.
