Options to explore

Complementary therapy may include nutritional, psychological, and physical approaches.

Many ovarian cancer survivors continue to explore the possibilities of complementary medicine as an adjunct to standard medical care. Examples are: acupuncture, naturopathy, massage, reflexology, etc.

There are many naturopaths in Oregon and SW Washington. There are also naturopaths who have special training in naturopathic oncology and are board certified (FABNO) in this area. Their directory can be found here: oncanp.org

IEP (The Immune Enhancement Project) in Portland is also an option for complementary treatments combined in one clinic: iep-portland.org

You can find more information on complementary therapy on the NIH website: https://nccih.nih.gov/health/integrative-health
