Survivors Teaching Students (STS)

STS enables survivors to speak directly to future medical professionals.

This innovative program saves lives, one presentation at a time: helping future medical professionals diagnose the disease at its earliest, most treatable stages.

Survivors Teaching Students® (STS) is an international program that is run through the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA).

Now virtual, STS presentations include survivors participating from throughout the northwest.

One future health care professional notes, “For me personally, I find it incredibly valuable to hear patients talk about their stories.  We sit every day in class learning about diseases, but nothing helps me connect that information more than hearing it firsthand from someone who experienced it.”

For survivors interested in sharing their own ovarian cancer and treatment stories please contact info@ovariancancersosw.org or 877-682-2679.
