The Latest on Diagnosis and Treatment

Join us for the annual Ovarian Cancer Medical Update on Tuesday, June 22, 7:00pm-8:15pm. The update will focus on ovarian cancer information including the latest developments in diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Cassandra Niemi, MD is the featured speaker.

Dr. Cassandra Niemi joined Providence Cancer Institute in 2021 and specializes in caring for people with gynecologic cancers. She tailors surgical and medical treatments to her patients' needs, providing fertility-sparing options, minimally-invasive surgery, and targeted therapies when appropriate. Dr. Niemi has particular interest in connecting patients with the latest treatments through clinical trials. Her approach to medicine focuses on maximizing quality of life during and after treatment. She believes that the best care is given when patients and their providers work as a team. “It’s an amazing privilege to be a part of my patients’ lives. I love getting to know my patients, so that we can come up with a treatment plan that honors the whole person.”
