Our one-on-one Peer mentoring program matches survivors with women who are newly diagnosed or facing a recurrence of their ovarian cancer. Applicants must apply and be accepted into this program. We participate in the national Survivors Teaching Students program through which medical and other health care students learn by listening to personal stories of diagnosis and treatment. Applicants must apply and be accepted into this program. Training is provided.
Promote our Trust Your Gut awareness campaign on social media (include #TrustYourGut), hand out bookmarks, hang posters, get your business involved.
You can also get involved by registering as an ovarian cancer survivor in the Oregon Ovarian Cancer Registry (OOCR), or taking part in a study of long-term survivors.
